I can probably count on one hand the amount of times I have won anything. I remember winning an art contest when I was in Primary school, I got a free t-shirt and a calendar (which I still have) that featured my drawings.
I was 6 then, I am 22 now. Slight difference.

So I’ve taken up Bass lessons on the upright bass
Mostly because I’m enthralled by the notion of playing something bigger than myself!
These are big suckers!
Anyway it was hanging out on it’s side in my bedroom catching some late afternoon rays when I got a brilliant idea!
I’ll take pictures!
Because stringed instruments can double as jewelry holders
It is after all a DOUBLE Bass!

Today boasted unseasonably warm weather for November, which is ridiculous seeing as though August was frightfully cold! Never the less the important thing to do is seize the opportunity to enjoy what the day delivers. So I seized my little sister (who was home for two days from her hectic college schedule), the lovely warm weather, the bright sunlight, and my camera!
We took pictures!
She was a Fantastic Model
And a Funny one at that
…and she will probably kill me…
But then my niece joined in and the pictures got even better
Those little hands came in handy
to show off my baby pistachio shell brooch
and my crazy HUGE one too!
It was then that those little hands got a hold of the Camera…
She even managed to capture a picture of me…
trying to catch a little rascal with a camera.
